For October, we decided to highlight the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, Golf Club & Spa – otherwise simply known to locals as the JW Marriott Marco Island Resort. Now, this absolutely stunning resort is the epitome of a tropical getaway. After completing a $320 million dollar renovation in 2017, the resort is now a Balinese style luxury property owned by, of course, JW Marriott. There are 810 divine rooms and suits, two award winning golf courses, four sparkling pools, an adult only experience, a fabulous salon and spa, and that is only the elevator pitch.
Culinary offerings, you ask? Aside from the addition of five new restaurants – such as Ario, Maia, and Kane Tiki Bar & Grill – the brand has also added Tesoro, a Mediterranean inspired restaurant in the Lanai tower exclusively for adults.
With the arrival of Executive Chef Eric Vasta, who is expertly crafting the resort’s culinary program, the resort has now positioned itself to be a thriving foodie destination for those with an epicurean lifestyle from around the world.
Relaxation? There is nothing quite like the resort’s The Spa experience. Based on four core values: calm, indulge, renew, and invigorate – guests are invited to experience a range of full-service and express treatments. Additional spa programs include daily beach yoga, Fitness on Demand, floating pool yoga, meditation, and curated wellness retreats throughout the year. Let us not exclude our mini me. After all, a little mommy-daughter time in a salon is super special. Lynn and Haily are all about the braids and fairy hair (tinsel hair) while mama gets a cut and blowout.

Now, if we are having a family moment, this fabulous resort also has 10k alley, a 12,000 sq. ft state of the art entertainment area. This is not just for the kiddos. The space has been designed to mimic a modern distillery. The heartbeat of the gastropub is a circular bar with quite the impressive menu. They have craft beers, delicious bourbons, and yes ladies, startle your friends and throw out the name Pappy Van Winkle 23. A rare spirit indeed, and your bourbon drinking friends will practically go running!
You can also order pub fare fit for a king while you watch your kiddos (or participate yourself) go bowling, play arcade games, and have an over the top experience.
