Delicious cocktails for the holiday season.
With all the craziness that surrounds the holidays, a little champagne is definitely in order – or maybe a little Tequila. We aren’t choosy when it comes to getting boozy, so we decided to give you three delicious cocktails to wrap our lips around this holiday season.
Don’t worry, we did a little quality control check on each drink for you – I mean, we wanted to make sure they were delicious – and just to double check, we pulled a jolly ole St. Nick and checked it twice off camera. We are nothing if not thorough here at LUXYMOM®.
I will say, making these cocktails with my fabulous wonder woman of a side-kick Libby was absolutely hilarious. Sprinkle in two new interns to video the shenanigans and you have yourself a very merry moment. Enjoy, LUXYMOMS®!
I got lime in my eye!

The Pink Elephant
Hands down my favorite. Two reasons: First, it is absolutely delicious and so pretty to look at. Second, the following exchange between me and Libby. We were making the drink and it called for freshly squeezed lime juice – so naturally, Libby grabs the lime and begins to squeeze.
Our interns are videotaping, and I am basically just standing there salivating – your girl was thirsty – and then Libby jumps back and yells, “I got lime in my eye!” Listen, she looked like the most beautiful, tiny pirate and I started laughing hysterically. Again, this was all on video. A total chic show but man was it delicious! Try out the Pink Elephant and keep the lime out of your eye!
Cranberry Orange Margarita
Let’s talk about this bad mamma jamma! This is a dangerous drink. It is delicious and so dang pretty to look at. For this cocktail, we picked up a Tequila made by George Clooney called Casamigos Blanc, and it is just as yummy as the man himself, but I digress. Sugared cranberries add a beautiful garnish and sweetness to balance the orange liquor and tequila. Try the recipe here. Enjoy!
Vanilla Chai Tea White Russian
This one is a surprise and a cozy little gem. It will require a little prep time to make the simple syrup, but it is all worth it. A nice warm and deep cocktail with Star Anise and cinnamon is just the ticket to snuggle up by the fire with that special someone for the night. Here’s how to make it.
