The headscarf is back in full force this season, and all social media channels are reinforcing the many ways we can wear this fun, silky accessory.
The older I get, the less I sometimes feel I can wear some of these bolder statement trends – so when I need some advice and inspiration, who else do I go to but our friend and one of our resident hair experts Ada Tabaku of Ada K Beauty.

Ada straightened me right up and assured me that I most certainly can wear these headscarf trends, and so can you.
Not only are these headscarf hairstyles super cute, but they’re really functional. Sometimes we have a dirty hair day – when all the dry shampoo won’t work. So we need to put it up or camouflage it – and a headscarf can work wonders.
A headscarf is also a fun way to bring the bolder side of your personality into your outfit. It’s especially nice if you work in a more corporate environment where the dress code may be pretty buttoned up – but your hair is fair game for this accessory.
Four Head Scarf Hairstyles
Ada’s showing us four ways to style a headscarf to give you the cutest summer hairstyles!
Braided Head Scarf Hairstyle
I’ve always drooled over this look on Pinterest. Just weave your headscarf into your braid and tie it at the end for an eye-catching style.
Head Scarf in a Bun
Take the above style one step further, and twist your braid up into a bun. You’ll get a woven look to an otherwise typical updo.
Half Up Half Down Hairstyle
Pull the top half of your hair up into a loose half-up do. Secure with a head scarf. The look is one part preppy, one part vintage, and even a little boho.
Headband with a Bow
Grab your head scarf at both ends, and pull it from the nape of your neck up to the top of your head, and secure into a bow. This is a very sweet, feminine, and youthful head scarf hairstyle.
