These healthy snacks let you indulge without guilt.
You might be wondering what exactly “natural” snacks are… When I first discovered natural snacks, I wasn’t sure what it actually meant, either. Upon further investigation, this is the clear definition from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA): “A natural product contains no artificial ingredients or added colors and is minimally processed.” So we’re uncovering some great healthy snacks that let you indulge without guilt.
Snacks from whole foods stores are mostly made with natural ingredients like nuts, berries, fruits, almond butter, whole grains, and more. Moreover, dehydrated fruits and veggies are natural snacks so-called the “dehydrated delights,” and you can also make these right at home. You might think natural snacks don’t taste good as just regular snacks, but you’d be wrong. These are just some of the many natural snacks that you should try!

Benefits of Dehydrated Delights
Snacks help control your hunger and can help you meet your nutrient needs. Dehydrated fruits and veggies retain their original nutrients like calories, protein, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and sugar content. They even maintain their nutrients for much longer than fresh ones.
I love dehydrated snacks because they’re easy to store and last longer. As a busy working mompreneur, dried, natural snacks are my go-to healthy snacks when I’m in a rush and need a quick bite to get my energy going.
I like to make my own dehydrated delights – but if I don’t have the time for it, I would buy a few options and share them with friends. Here are some of my favorite natural snacks and brands.
Dried Vegetable Chips
You can find many kinds of vegetable chips made with different ingredients and methods. Most of them are made with potatoes, carrots, squash, green beans, broccoli, kale, sweet potatoes, and more.
Dried vegetable chips may contain fewer nutrients than when they’re fresh; however, they are definitely healthier than traditional salted potato chips. The bottom line of consuming dehydrated vegetable chips is to intake more vegetables in your daily life.
TERRA Heritage Blend Sea Salt Vegetable Chips – TERRA vegetable chips contain a mix of Yukon Gold potato, blue potato, Chioggia beet, and Beauregard sweet potato with sea salt. One serving contains 2 grams of protein and fiber with low sodium. I like to grab this once in a while when I go shopping at my local market, and you can buy them online via the link above.
KIND Bar Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt – There are many healthy, delicious protein bars out there. My number one favorite protein bar is the KIND Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt Bar, which fulfills my needs for sweet and crunchy cravings. Interesting fact, this protein bar contains chicory root fiber, which is high in fiber, slows your digestions, and helps your body absorb nutrients.
Organic Tropical Dried Fruits from Mavuno Harvest – One piece of dried fruit contains the same nutrients as the fresh fruit. Dried fruits have a great amount of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phenolic antioxidants, which are all beneficial to your health. Mavuno Harvest provides various kinds of dried tropical fruits like banana, mango, jackfruit, coconut, papaya, pineapple, and assorted mix. You can easily find this brand on Amazon or your nearby stores like Walmart and Target. And we’ve included our link to buy them on Amazon, above.
