Fun, vibrant eyeshadow looks are all the rage, but do you ever scroll through dozens of influencers’ and artists’ pages wondering how on earth they created such a masterpiece? It’s true, finding the perfect eyeshadow look for you is one thing, but creating it is another.
However, there’s no need to feel so intimidated by that fluffy blending brush in your makeup bag, and the rainbow assortment of pigments in that eyeshadow palette. Bright eyes are in, and now’s the best time to start experimenting with those daunting pinks and greens.

There are so many ways you can integrate bright, colorful eyeshadow into your makeup look, and it’s time to step out of your comfort zone.
One of the great things about working with color is that you really can make it as bold as you like, or tone it down for something that packs a little less punch.
Whether it’s for evening drinks, paired with a matching dress, or you want to add a nice hue to a casual spring outfit, there are so many ways to add bright colors to your lids.
Don’t Cut Corners
If you’re afraid of getting a little too brush happy, one style that may be good for you was first seen on the iconic Kylie Jenner, and that’s a touch of color in the inner corner of the eye.
It’s super easy to re-create, and all you need to do is use your finger to pat a little of your chosen color into the inner corner of your eyes. Optionally, finish with a black winged liner for a snatched eye.

Line it Up
Another option is adding some fun to your regular eyeliner, and it’s a great choice if this is a style you flaunt every day. You can either purchase a colored eyeliner of your choice and apply this as usual, or apply a white liner in your chosen shape and pat some pigment on top of it.

Orange You Loving It?
Another great option is to try a glowy, fierce orange look, as it suits all skin tones, and can make a more subtle, yet irresistible, look.
One of the best things to do with these copper and orange tones is to create a wing-shaped eyeshadow and deepen the hue in the inside of the crease. Then, pack some coordinating glitter or shimmer on the lid and you’re good to go.

Bright Ombre
For some people, it’s a case of go big or go home, and that’s no exception if you want to try a bright ombre. Be aware, this does take a little more skill – but with plenty of blending and close attention, you’ll be fine.
One tip is to start with a light wash of color and gently increase the intensity once you’re happy with the shape and placement. Just start with one color in the outer corner, one in the inner, and blend along the crease, following the shape of the eye.
