Today, we are focusing on laundry, because this is where my love affair with the brand began.
I found this detergent while playing around on Pinterest and reading random blogs. I am that woman, who will stay up until O’God thirty going down the rabbit hole of fabulosity. Guilty.
I came across a blog that told a hysterical tale of a mom that was at the pool with her daughter and her friend. She was lounging, minding her own business when she caught a whiff of something amazing.
Naturally, she began sniffing everything around her and noticed her daughter’s friend’s towel sitting on the chair next to her. The two girls were approaching from the pool and the young lady grabbed the towel and did the snap to open it. You know, how you flap it open?
Well, it sent a wave of perfume to the mom and she asked to sniff her towel again. I was ROLLING! I could see myself doing this type of shamockery and my daughter’s mortified face, but hey, we moms will do what we must. She immediately called the young lady’s mother and she was told the secret – The Laundress’s Le Labo Rose 31.
So, out of sheer curiosity, and a little dose of my self-admitted love of luxury, I began scoping out the site. I went to The Laundress and immediately got lost in a nirvana of incredible products! I found the Le Labo Rose 31 detergent I was looking for and it was retailing for $45 for 16 fl oz or about 32 loads.
Now, I know some of you are like, “HOLD YOUR HANDBAG, TAMARA! This is laundry detergent we are talking about!” I know, but when I say a cap-full will do you, that is it. I did not use this product to wash everything, as this was a “special” detergent. I still use my regular go-to for the usual laundry routine, but my sheets, blankets, and even my little min-pin’s bedding got the special treatment. It will literally leave your whole home smelling amazing. This product is concentrated, so again, a little cap-full goes a long way. And, it cleans wonderfully, so don’t think you are compromising on cleanliness.
