Bubble lovers unite for innovative cocktails and mocktails – plus a LUXYMOM® exclusive!
Bartenders have always been the magicians of the mix – taking great pride in their innate ability to put a new and innovative twist on a classic beverage, making it distinctly their own.
Sometimes this reinvention is to introduce a new garnish – like candied bacon to add levels of complexity to an already smokey bourbon.
Or, as in the case of this tale, they craft a stunning mocktail and develop a full-on separate menu to re-enroll an all-but-forgotten audience who had been relegated to drinking water or soda during social outings.
We feel strongly that everyone deserves a beautiful libation, no matter the occasion. And so do some fellow Neapolitans, who are visionaries in the kitchen, behind the bar, and in business. So it was natural that we felt compelled to share a brilliant gem of creativity in one of the country’s toniest destination towns (which we very luckily get to call home).
We tapped Chef Vincenzo Betulia – Owner of sister concepts Osteria Tulia, Bar Tulia, and The French Brasserie Rustique – for a little insight into his intentionally witty mocktail menu, Sober Curious.
Betulia realized there was an entire audience that had not been part of the conversation at most establishments, simply because they did not drink alcohol. He saw an opportunity to captivate and create something new, and to invite non-drinkers back into the conversation.
Thus, the Sober Curious mocktail menu was born. The name – intriguing. The mocktails – stunning. Refusing to compromise presentation and complexity, Chef Betulia and his team of magicians – I mean bartenders – crafted a menu for our sober sisters (and misters) that may just have us bubble drinkers switching teams.
We tapped Betulia’s A-team to whip up some fabulous cocktails for our fabulous LUXYMOMs®.
In the video below, Ky Belk – who helms the bar at The French – builds a mocktail with a straight-from-the-garden freshness. And Stanley Worrell – who shakes up his cocktail potions at Bar Tulia – brings to life his LUXYMOM® Signature Cocktail for our non-sober sisters.

We love innovation, and we were floored with excitement when the team effervescently and without hesitation imagined a cocktail fitting for all our lovelies out there. Stanley pulled together fresh ingredients, infused gins, and the real kicker – Absinthe!
Served up in a romantic coupe glass this cocktail is a beautiful walk on the wild side. (And did you know? Legend says the coupe glass was molded from Marie Antoinette’s left bosom. That’s right. The coupe glass is also the first glass made specifically for drinking champagne. The more you know.)
